GUNK

GUNK is a NYC-based physical show paper highlighting DIY indie-adjacent music shows each month and features from local writers. GUNK was started in August 2023 by Ceci Sturman and Hannah Pruzinsky, best friends. They met as roommates their freshman year of college in NYC and lived together for 9 years after. They play in a band called Sister. and started GUNK to make something else together and with anyone else willing to contribute!

GUNK has been designed, printed, and published by Secret Riso Club since June 2024. GUNK is eternally collaborative and thrives on community. We always have an open call for submissions (shows, design, feature writers, photography, distribution, volunteering - you name it!).

GUNK is made possible with donations from people like you! You can become a supporting member of GUNK and even elect to have GUNK mailed to you!
