Artifacts & Anecdotes is an annual celebration (hosted for Joe's birthday) of the community of people he's lucky to call his friends. Calling back to days of hosting gatherings in his parents' basement, he asks in place of gifts that anyone comes with a something that they would like to share, as he loves learning from those around him.

The Artifact can be ephemeral or metaphorical. The Anecdote can be factual or imaginative. The prompt is to share stories, songs, art, projects, or memories on your mind. They could be yours, or just something you like.

The structure is simple; each hour (starting at 5p), we'll do a series of shares for < 5m each. You can sign up to share something in advance, or decide to join on the spot. We'll have a simple sound system and projector, if that's needed, but its' use isn't required. I'll have some food & beverages, but feel free to bring more to share. No donation is required, but if you do, it'll go to towards costs for food & beverage & cleanup.
