Make merry with The Poetry Brothel at a cast party and open rehearsal rolled into one!Ring in the holiday season with Poetry Brothel castmates! We'll bring the limelight into the darkness by sharing our work at the mic, giving one on one readings in the parlor to visitors, typing up poems on the spot for visitors, and making holiday cards to send to incarcerated LGBTQIA+ individuals through Black and Pink. Drinks and snacks will be provided!Friends and family are welcome to stop by for intimate readings in the Victorian parlor and to write a holiday card to send to Black & Pink. Attendance is free. Donations made on this page will be split among performers. Tips for intimate readings are appreciated and can be made via cash, Venmo, and PayPal.Proof of vaccination will be required for entry. Masks will be required for visitors. Performers may remove their masks when at the mic and while eating/drinking. The doors will be kept open for improved airflow, so please come attired in your coziest party clothes.On-street parking is available. The closest T station is Forest Hills on the orange line.
