Frick Frack Blackjack

Looking for a game? I bet you won't find another one quite like this one. Step right up and place a bet, but there's one catch: there's no money allowed. So what do you have? What's in your pockets? The game's Frick Frack Blackjack and it's a No Cash No Limit barter blackjack game where you can bet me anything in the world except money. Big or small, weird and obscure, all things are open for bet at our tables. We want your stuff so bring your stuff to play with us.

Come join our merry gang of traders and collectors for a night of revelry and debauchery that can only come from a Frick Frack game. We will have multiple no-money game tables for you to bet your trinkets and oddities, a dare wheel to test your nerve, and shenanigans galore. We will also be featuring live burlesque and comedic performances on stage to set the mood for play.

Win big or bust, everyone’s a winner in our game and while we may be hustlers and gamblers we aren’t after your money, we’re after your shoelaces. Think you've got what it takes to beat us at our own game? Step right up and let's play.

WHY MEMBERSHIP?
In exchange for your ongoing support as a member, you'll receive free admission to the museum as often as you care to visit, free tickets to all events, free beverages when possible, and—we hope— a tiny New York City historical institution to call your own.

Sustaining monthly memberships help us predict our finances, and survive through and beyond this pandemic. We are entirely volunteer-run and currently have no paid staff. Our community means the world to us, and we would love for you to be a part of it.

If you are not yet a member and buy a ticket, you will be asked after payment if you would like to contribute your ticket price toward membership. What a deal!

WHAT IS THE CITY RELIQUARY?
Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We house the bones of New York City. From seltzer bottles to schist cores, to roller skates from racially integrated rinks, to a burnt out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty's torch. These artifacts as the backdrop, we aim to support artists and our Brooklyn community with a plethora of creative and cultural programming.

ACCESSIBILITY
The main entrance and indoor museum are entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and 4 steps down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven with some platforms, but a paved area near the entrance is available with a view of the stage.

If the price is keeping you from coming to the show, contact us and we will do our best to help, no questions asked.

Email Charlotte at charlotte.chauvin.97@gmail.com with any questions or needs, and we'll be happy to figure out if and how we can accommodate you.

WHAT ELSE?
Please come prepared to tip the performers via cash, Venmo, or Cash App.
