Calling all artists to come together and create visual art for three reasons.
1) To raise public awareness about climate change and the Green New Deal.
2) To tell as many people as possible to strike on Earth day.
3) To let the messages linger after Earth day and help increase voter turn out in support of the Green New Deal's vision.

We will be brainstorming effective images and language to use, as well as other creative projects to help spread awareness.
We will then be wheat pasting these images all over the DMV area once the projects are completed.

Some art supplies will be provided but please bring what you can (newsprint, paper, paint, and computers for graphic design).

Due to concerns related to COVID-19, we will be exercising caution in regards to sanitary working conditions and advising those who don’t feel well or are already sick to get in contact with @greennewdealartists for other ways to participate in these art builds. We acknowledge however, that the risks of uniting together as people and standing up for our future must continue matter no what stands win our way.
