Henry Fraser is a bassist, composer, and improviser from Boston, MA. He received his BA from New England Conservatory of Music in the spring of 2014, and has worked with Joe Morris, Tony Malaby, Mat Maneri, Weasel Walter, Axel Dörner, Judith Berkson, Ryan Power, Charmaine Lee, Chris Pitsiokos, and many others. Henry's parallel pursuits of technical mastery and novel experimentation have put him at the forefront of the experimental music scene in New York and beyond. His latest album, Buzzed, will be released on October 12, on AntiCausual Systems.

Cecilia Lopez is a composer, musician and installation artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work explores the boundaries between composition and improvisation, as well as the resonance properties of diverse materials through the creation of non-conventional sound devices and systems. She holds an M.F.A from Bard College and an M.A. in composition from Wesleyan University. Collaborations include projects with Carmen Baliero, Carrie Schneider and Lars Laumann among others.

Ben Bennett has developed a unique approach to percussion which takes the lineage of jazz, free-improvisation, and extended technique as its foundation. In searching for an expanded sonic palette, and more fluid movement between various timbres, he has distilled the drumset into a compact assortment of drumheads, stretched membranes, and other objects which offer a wide variety of unconventional sounds from few materials, which can be rearranged into different combinations during a performance. This aesthetic development also translates into a practical advantage, as this setup can fit into a backpack, allowing for unencumbered traveling, which Bennett has been doing actively for the past 12 years, touring the US and abroad as a soloist, and with a number of collaborators.

Michael Foster is a Brooklyn based saxophonist, improvisor, multi-instrumentalist, and curator working within the fields of improvisation, experimental composition, jazz, and noise. His work explores the overlap of instrumental preparation, noise, focusing on methods of queering strategies for improvisation as well as his approach to the saxophone and extensive preparations. His current projects include duos with Leila Bordreuil, Lydia Lunch, Richard Kamerman (as The New York Review of Cocksucking), and Ben Bennett, and various ensembles lead by Weasel Walter, Sarah Hennies, Marina Rosenfeld, and others.

Sandy Ewen is a sound artist, visual artist and architect who has recently relocated to NYC from Houston, TX. Ewen’s audio practice focuses on extended guitar techniques, improvisation, graphic scores and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her unique approach to guitar incorporates a wide array of implements – railroad spikes, sidewalk chalk, threaded bolts, steel wool and other items become an arsenal of abstraction. Ewen has worked extensively with film makers, dancers, poets and musicians to create films, audio recording, sound interventions and performance art.
