This Christmas Express, Finding Joy in the Journey by Celeste Clydesdale

All aboard!  Every Christmas Eve the passengers on the Christmas Express make the journey to Bethlehem, PA to celebrate the birth of Christ with a grand pageant.  The question is, who will God choose to ride the train on this special night, and what kind of adventure will unfold? 

Come along as the jolly, joyful train conductor welcomes Mrs. Davis and her students, along with a hard-working waitress named Jenny.  The mood is high until Mr. Theodore Higgingsworth III, -a businessman who doesn't believe in "fairy tales" - boards the train.  Only when the Christmas Express comes to a sudden stop and an unexpected stranger comes on board does Mr. Higginsworth realize that the story of Christmas isn't only a story.

This year the Hands Toward Heaven Puppet Team consists of 15 puppeteers, Grades 7-12, and 8 leaders.  We are a ministry sponsored by First Baptist Church of Silvis, IL.  We begin each fall with a Christmas program followed by the Spring program, and then in early summer we are a vital part of our church's Vacation Bible School program.  Each year, we go on a mission trip to smaller churches needing help with Vacation Bible School, to family camps, and once every 4 years to an international destination.
