School for Poetic Computation Presents: Open Projector (London Edition)

England
Free

School for Poetic Computation (SFPC) is visiting London and we’re inviting our extended community—alumni, friends old and new—to join us for an Open Projector!

Open Projector is a playful twist on the poetic tradition of open mics, where anyone can plug into the projector and sound system to share something for five minutes. We welcome work that explores themes of art, language, and technology. This could be a project, a poem, a short talk, a short essay, a performance, or even an idea-in-progress. No need to be polished! It’s all about sharing ideas, showing up for each other, and making space for connection and friendship.

This gathering is hosted by SFPC Co-Director Todd Anderson, founder of WordHack, New York City’s longest running open projector event! We’re stoked to be hosted by The Common Press, a not-for-profit queer bookstore and community space in Shoreditch. Sign-ups start when doors open. Come early if you’d like to present, or just come through to support the presenters, hang out, and make some new friends!
