Ambient Church is a nomadic experiential event series dedicated to working with artists to bring new ecologies to architecturally unique spaces through transcendent audio and visual performance.

This Fall, the series will make its return to New York with performances by three extraordinary contemporary artists. Montreal-based composer, pianist, organist, and electronic musician Kara-Lis Coverdale (Montréal) will perform a selection of her electronic works. NYC-based electroaustic composer and multi-instrumentalist Kelly Moran (Warp Records) will grace us with her ethereal John Cage-inspired prepared piano stylings. Opening the night, Brooklyn-based Icelandic,composer and instrument builder Úlfur Hansson will play the Segulharpa, his custom magnetic harp instrument which is touring as part of Björk's Cornucopia.

The artists will perform in an historic church, accompanied by architecturally-mapped projections.
