The two long-running collaborators Morton Subotnick and Lillevan will debut the USA premiere of their newest audiovisual collaboration "As I Live and Breathe" at Recombinant Festival 2019. The composer will summon sounds — both those generated organically and those multiplied by the sonic apparatus – through early electronic instruments and devices, including the iconic Buchla synthesizer. With lyrical moving image by his long-running collaborator Lillevan, the artists will transform the theater through shifting sonic and visual landscapes.
