Galloping from galaxies to other galaxies, from sonic spiral constellations to new stand-up cosmos emerges PANTHEON ANDROMEDA: A Night of Stand-Up and Songs, hosted and organized by Mateo Rodriguez-Hurtado. With some help from the house band, The Highlighters, musical stylings will ricochet from R & B, Pop, Disco among other genres followed by a work in progress (or progress-in-work!) 30 minute stand-up comedy set by host Mateo Rodriguez-Hurtado. TLDR; Pantheon Andromeda marries live comedy and music for a raucous transcendent show never before seen by the naked eye. Opening act: TBA.

Bio: Mateo Rodriguez-Hurtado (@_laserpipe) is a Chicago born, Bed-Stuy based multihyphenate MexiRican loca. They co-host & co-produce the all queer people of color stand-up show Glory W(hole), with Lili Pujol, on the lower east side. In NYC, Mateo has performed at Club Cumming, Littlefield, BAAD!, HERE Arts Center, The Kitchen, Chateau de 420 Marcy, The Point (in the BX), Ars Nova, Hèrmes, Caveat, Logan’s Run, Friends and Lovers, among other lugares. Rodriguez-Hurtado’s scripted comedy podcast The Animal Show Starring Safari Safari is now on Spotify ; previous guests include Dylan Adler, Urayoán Noel, Emma Ramos, Lili Pujol, Mattie Barber-Bockelman, Jilberto Soto, Marga Gomez, Dana Quercioli. In 2020, Mateo lent their voice to Playwrights Horizons for the audio play THE MS PHOENIX RISING by Trish Harnetiaux, directed by Katie Brook.
