Join us for our April Revolve Screens event! We will be watching Black Art: In the Absence of Light. This 2021 documentary explores the state of affairs of arts by African-Americans. As the movie opens, it is 1976 and Tom Brokaw is interviewing David Driskell about a new exhibition called "Two Centuries of American Black Art" in New York.
Your ticket includes some popcorn + drinks, but you're welcome to bring your own snacks, beverages + pillows!
The space is ADA friendly, but the building doors do not have automatic opening options. We try to keep the building doors propped for events, but it is a shared space! If you need assistance or have further accessibility questions, please email us at revolveavl@gmail.com.
