World of Witches Vendors Market
WHAT: Get ready for Samhain, Día de los Muertos, Halloween, and other celebrations of life, death, the spirit world, and harvest, by coming out to Mayday's World of Witches Vendors' Market! The market will feature vendors from numerous traditions around the world selling artwork, ceremonial talismans, herbs, potions, and more. There will also be skill-sharing workshops throughout the day organized by MINKA where you can learn how to make tools of magic, herbal products, and more!
LOCATION OF MARKET: The Great Hall of Mayday Space (a community center and organizing hub dedicated to movements for justice) - 176 St. Nicholas Ave - Bushwick, Brooklyn
WHEN: Saturday, October 12th. Set-up begins at 10am. Market open to public from 12-6pm. Close-down 6-7pm
Entry to the World of Witches market is completely FREE. However, please RSVP so that we have a sense of foot traffic and consider making a donation to help us offset costs of putting on the market.
We will announce workshops in Mid-September that will have a sliding scale fee with no one turned away for a lack of funds. Tickets to workshops will be added here.
