Join Voluminous Arts for a V-Day edition of our monthly party on THURSDAY February 13th!! That’s right this month we are doing T4Tuesdays on a THURSDAY at a new venue ~Mad Tropical, 236 Troutman St. Brooklyn, NY~ (just down the street from our usual venue).
Before the party gets revved up, come meet us at open office hours starting at 6 where you can learn about the work our community is doing and get involved. It’s also a great time to co-work and/or organize with fellow trans people. Office hours is followed by skill shares, workshops, and activities at 8 where you can make friends, meet people and get ready to dance to the DJs of the expanding Voluminous Arts community.
On THURSDAY 2/13 we’ll have office hours from 6-8, come say hi 👋
Then from 8-9 we’ll have some SEXY V-Day activities!!
The party fully goes off starting at 9 with DJ sets from Xana 101 and catluvr420, plus our resident DJ Sodomahigomorra to get your blood pumping and your charisma glowing so you can find that special someone to keep you warm in this literally and metaphorically frigid time.
Throughout the night we’re also blessed to have a V-Day photo booth by zippeee!!
Toolbox Collective will be joining us all night to distribute free harm reduction and safer sex supplies as well as KN95 masks.
Voluminous Arts is a cultural organization with a vision to build a community center for trans people in New York City. A suggested $10 donation helps support Voluminous Arts’ ongoing operations as we build our vision, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Accessibility: Mad Tropical is located on the ground floor with an accessible entrance and accessible bathroom. If there is a line, and standing on line is inaccessible - please go directly to the bouncer and we will let you in once we have capacity.
Covid protocols: While we would love to provide on-site testing, Voluminous Arts does not currently have the financial resources to provide that, so please test before coming and stay cozy at home if you test positive or do not feel well.
