Recombinant Media Labs & Gray Area are proud to announce the US premiere of 360° spatial sound and surround cinema experience Gone, Gone Beyond by People Like Us (Vicki Bennett), following its debut European tour last fall with screenings at nyMusikk in Oslo, the Barbican in London, and more.
On May 26 & 27, Gone, Gone Beyond creator Vicki Bennett will be joining us in person at Gray Area to introduce the program and answer questions.
Gone, Gone Beyond by People Like Us (Vicki Bennett), the first feature-length work created for the CineChamber, makes its US premiere following its debut European tour. Gone, Gone Beyond uses collaged footage and sound to create a wrap-around experience on the CineChamber’s 10 screens and six speakers, which invites the audience to break the rectangle, and look beyond the frame.
