THE LIVING ROOM: SALON presents GATHERING SEEDS

The Living Room: Salon is a new series we are so very excited to share with you all. Salons will be held regularly on the last Wednesday of the month as a sort of curated open mic; a chance to share and hear new works and works in progress, and create community by sharing space, ideas, conversation, time, libations, and resources.

This first Salon’s theme is “Gathering Seeds” and will feature writing from Lillian Mottern, Eva Szilardi-Tierney, Susi Plotts-Pineda, KCA, and Erin Gray. We’ll also be tabling The Living Room Zine and a limited run of original linocuts created for gathering seeds by Naomi Schiller.

The Living Room is a Brooklyn based art collective that publishes a quarterly-ish zine, produces live events, and nurtures community through collaboration, conversation, and experimentation. If you would like to share or workshop your work please reach out and we would love to find a salon evening where you could share your work. Salons are open to all live art forms across genre and can vary in length as some months we will present many shorter pieces and some months we may spend time engaging in discussion around longer form pieces.
