Join artist Lauren Alaina Schroeder for a hike around Bishop Hill to literally draw from nature. We will start in the classroom with a few quick sketches to warm up our pencils and our eye. Then the entire class will take a hike out back into the meadow and forest edge to find a place with a good view. We will explore point of view and depth of field as we draw a scene from life. paper, drawing materials and blankets to sit on are provided. Dress for the weather, (and the class can be held indoors if the weather is too sour!).
