Bio: Adi (they/he) is a 2nd generation Mexican and Puerto Rican queer, trans, sober, non-binary somatic practitioner, facilitator, body worker, and dancer. Growing up Adi learned to dance at family parties with their tios and cousins playing the guitarra, congas, bongos, y güira. Their love for music, community, and dancing hasn’t stopped. Adi has since trained with professionals and amateurs alike in Chicago, NYC, Seattle, Oakland, and LA. Adi is deeply committed sharing the skills they have and most importantly, fulfilling his dream of more dance spaces that center community over alcohol, connection over competition, admiration over judgement, and active and on-going consent!
Diana (she/ella) is a Mayday collective member whose life work is centered around healing and autonomy. She’s a first generation Mexicana from La Villita en Chicago and shares her culture and knowledge of plants and food in her nourishment for others. She’s been working towards bodily autonomy in the repro health, rights and justice field for the last 12 years and feels honored to support people’s healing journey.
