* With the uptick in Delta variant cases in NY, we have made the decision to move our Senses in Motion workshop online.*

Senses in Motion is a free-flowing movement meditation rooted in listening: to our bodies, to the environment, and to our internal rhythms. Using a sensory and imagery-based approach, dancer and choreographer Georgia Usborne will guide us through improvised gestures and researching our own ways of moving. Together we will explore connections between imagination and physicality.

Throughout the class, Georgia will offer prompts in texture, rhythm, and imagery to activate different parts of the body, followed by a brief discussion about movement technique and process.

This 60-minute workshop will offer peaks of high intensity movement and creative explorations of form and space.
