Good riddance 2020! Join the Mayday extended family to dream up ideas for programming and organizing initiatives that respond to the needs of our communities and our city still reeling from crisis.
2021 presents enormous challenges and opportunities for our movements and for Mayday itself. Workers and tenants facing tremendous hardship. Hunger, unemployment, shuttered businesses and quarantine life impacting health and mental wellness. Threats of austerity and service cuts. A post-Trump world and historic upcoming municipal elections with a slew of radicals vying for office.. But also rising movements and new strategies needed to build people power.
Got ideas for skill-shares or virtual political education sessions? Mutual aid projects? Ways to build out our movement shared resource bank? Fun, COVID-safe outdoor activities? Let's storm those brains, fill up that digital butcher paper, and move on high priority items.

Mayday is a unique project driven by our members and volunteers and not tied to any one issue, campaign or constituency. Let’s use our creativity and our network to support the work needed on the ground to transform our city for the better. If you’re an OG Mayday homie or brand new, we welcome your ideas and dedication.
