Join artist and herbalist Paige Emery on an herbal walk to learn about and connect with the local plants and sacred waters of the Angeles Forest. Paige will teach us about working with the medicine of a local plant, provide tea, and hold a guided meditation to both connect us with forest and inspire an ecopoetic writing session. No experience necessary ~ come as you are!

What to bring:
• an offerings for the water (tobacco, cacao, flowers)
• swimwear for when we reach the waterfall
• sun protection (hat , sunglasses, sunscreen)
• blanket to sit on
• journal and pencil
• plenty of water
• an open heart

*Please arrive early to find parking so that we can leave on time. You’ll need an adventure pass for parking which can be bought ($5 day use or $30 annual use) online, at REI, checked out at your local library, or purchased at the last gas station along the 2 before entering the Angeles Forest. If you have an ‘America The Beautiful’ National Parks Pass that is also accepted!
