After the Flowers - Directed by Sofi Medina
After the loss of his parents, Hassan finds a lifeline in drag, pouring his grief into his performances that reflect his heritage and keep his mother alive.
Over time, he builds a chosen family as the "mother" of his own drag house, nurturing four younger artists. His journey comes full circle at Albatross, the local bar where he first took the stage—a space that became a second home to his drag family and where he performs every Friday.
As Hassan share his journey and mentors his daughters, he gets the news that his show is cancelled and prepares for a final, heartfelt performance. Hassan confronts a new wave of grief, realizing that saying goodbye to this important place is like starting again.
His story unfolds as a testament to resilience, chosen family, and the healing power of community and of course, drag.
