Friends of the Road is an experimental string band from Seattle, Washington exploring longform acoustic drones rooted in a melting pot of influences from american-primitive, drupad, and free-improvisation which coalesce into original arrangements of traditional folk tunes. Friends will be joined by Ethan W.L and Janet Soomi. Casey Adams:
Casey Adams is a Seattle-based builder and creator of electro-acoustic noise. Kelby Clark:
Kelby Clark is an improviser and banjo player from South Georgia. He is inspired by the old-time music of his home state as well as drone, free improvisation, and many other forms of both experimental and traditional music from around the globe.
