For this month’s Shadow Kitchen we’re excited to present a showcase with LA based film distributor Altered Innocence (@alteredinnocence).

Curated by Frank Jaffe (@queereverything), Altered Innocence releases LGBTQ and coming-of-age cinema with an artistic edge. One of the most fun and rare (in 2025) things Altered Innocence does are their cinematic mixtapes - compilations of short films labeled either “Altered” (psychedelic/transgressive) or “Innocence” (sweet and tender).

Join us June 26th @coaxialarts as we present a sampling from their collection and talk with Frank Jaffe about his distinct film curation and what it’s like to distribute DVDs in our digital world.
