This is not a virtual event.

After a winter hiatus, The Last Chance Dancers are ready to get Arctic.

This evening will feature the album AM by the Arctic Monkeys played in full on vinyl, with the Last Chance Dancers bearing their New Black Rocks and blowing your knee socks off. No breaks. No mercy. Just raw emotion and bare flesh. Back when we did Gaga, a leaf fell onto the record and hit the needle, but we kept dancing through the scratches. Anything could happen.

The Last Chance Dancers are: Queensiñera, Esmé D’Avril, Kita St. Cyr, Maggie McMuffin, and Venatrix. Plus special guest: Jack Rabbit Slims.

Seasonal soul-quenching libations by minor celebrity chef Sam Reiff-Pasarew.

This is an outdoor show in March. Come prepared. You're welcome to move around or head inside to warm up throughout the show, but dress for the weather.

Warning: This is a real burlesque show, with professional burlesque dancers. Anyone is welcome, but please note there will be sexually explicit performance, nudity, and sexually explicit language.

SAFETY
We are capping attendance so there will be no more than 30 people the backyard at once, with room to spread out. Up to 5 at a time will be permitted indoors for restrooms, or to browse the museum collections.

Facemasks must be worn at all times indoors. Guests may remove masks outdoors when they are seated or standing still to watch the show. However please put them on when interacting with others or moving around.

Seats will be arranged in "pods" based on the number of tickets purchased in each order. If you would like to sit with someone who purchased tickets separately for the same show, please email jacob@cityreliquary.org in advance with the names for tickets you would like to be seated together.

Hand sanitizer will be available for all.

ACCESSIBILITY
The main entrance and indoor museum are entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and 4 steps down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven with some platforms, but a paved area near the entrance is available with a view of the stage. Email jacob@cityreliquary.org with any questions or needs, and we'll happy to figure out if and how we can accommodate.

WHAT IS THE CITY RELIQUARY?
Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We’re a museum that houses the bones of New York City. From seltzer bottles to schist cores, roller skates from racially integrated rinks, to a burnt out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty's torch.

WHY MEMBERSHIP?
Sustaining monthly memberships help us predict our finances, and survive through and beyond this pandemic. We can plan much better around reliable “subscriptions” than the whims of admissions & ticket sales.

We are entirely volunteer-run and currently have no paid staff.

In exchange for your ongoing support as a member, you'll receive free admission to the museum as often as you care to visit, free tickets to all events, free beverages when possible, and—we hope—tiny New York City historical institution to call your own.

Join at cityreliquary.org/join.

WHAT ELSE?
Please come prepared to tip the performers via cash, Venmo, or Cash App.

Drinks can be purchased from Chef Sam with cash or Venmo.
