This workshop is focused on sound experimentation using some of the main CMOS 40XX integral circuits .
During the workshop we will get to know basic electronic components and we will learn how to read schematics for circuits.
The aim of the workshop is to explore the creative possibilities of electronic circuits and make mini
synthesizers on breadboard.
Participants will experiment with different components such as light sensors and potentiometers and will be able to take home a mini-synthesizer with custom sound.
No previous knowledge is required. Kids are welcome!
This class will be taught by Corazon de Robata, a visual artist, dancer and researcher, focused on experimentation with electronic media, open-source technologies and practices DIWO. Her artistic proposals are presented in various formats integrating dance, sound performance and participatory works.
