Friends, family, and foes alike are invited to a virtual birthday gathering on Saturday, February 5th at 12-3p (PST) in the Withfriends Holiday Market on GatherTown.

As is my birthday wish every year, I ask all participants to consider sharing music, art, insights on reality and the world we live in, startups you're building, or anything else that's on your mind. It should be an very entertaining, informative, and casual hang among the smart and inspiring people I'm honored to call my friends.

But this year I have a fun new idea! Do you have an artwork, image, video, piece of writing, or any other media you might want to share? All you need to do is send along a file or link, and I'm going to set up a virtual gallery at the party of everything that everyone shares.

I'm really excited about this for a few reasons:

1. 1. If you don't like presenting, or you make something that is better interacted with in an a-synchronous way, this makes it easier to participate.


2. 2. If someone just stops by for a little bit, gets bored or fidgety during the presentations (!), or isn't available for the event, there's lots to explore on their own time.


3. 3. I can totally install everyone's work for them, but I wanna also host an installation hang out the week prior, if you wanna play with Gather's world-building features. Install time was always as fun for me as the actual event.
