Designing Interactive Holograms is a two-day introductory course that will take you from zero to hologram. We’ll cover how holographic displays work and walk through the basics of designing interactive holograms displays using the Unity 3D game engine. No programming experience is required.

The first session will cover the Unity interface and get students up and running with interactive applications without any programming. Already by the end of the first class, we’ll get to see our creations as holograms on Looking Glass displays.

In the second session, we’ll wrap up our interactive holographic applications and we’ll cover the basics of scripting custom interactions in C#.

Attendance for both days is strongly encouraged.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ATTENDEES:
Computer literacy but no programming experience required
