Babycastles & NDNTFD present CHAOTIC INTERFACES
Chaotic Interfaces explores atypical, frustrating, and uncanny ways of interacting. The games and interactables showcased all in some way draw attention to the myriad choices that have led up to our present moment of boring, utilitarian, and needlessly cold interaction design. In assembling this exhibit, we brought together several creators to provide some possiblilities for how our built environment could have turned out differently. The works on display range from absurd and funny, to hostile, to inpenetrably arcane; each focuses the player's attention on how they are manipulating it.
