Whether intelligent or not, we can agree that artificial intelligence (AI) is pretty weird. Students will learn what AI can and cannot do, and how Surrealist artists were all about stimulating their imagination in weird ways. Then we'll bring the two together:
We'll learn to use Runway (a program that makes using AI really easy) to generate creatures, objects, scenery never seen before. Working like a Surrealist artist, we'll use them as prompts to create our own fantastical drawings and collages.
