Helio Parallax is a project where dub, jazz, ambient and electronic genres can intertwine and flourish.

Bassist / producer Josh Werner (Wu Tang, BIll Laswell, Lee scratch Perry) and multi instrumentalist Takuya Nakamura ( George Russell, Quincy Jones, Nerve ) have created their own genre, "Sci Fi dub Noir" as a means of exploring genre bending compositions which set up landscapes for unlimited, spirit driven improvisations.
