This introductory workshop is designed to introduce you to the power and versatility of Hydra, a cutting-edge framework for creative coding and live visuals.

Hydra is a real-time live coding platform that enables all sorts to create mesmerizing visual compositions and generative art through a simple and intuitive interface. Whether you're a seasoned programmer or a newcomer to coding, Hydra lends itself to very satisfying, fun visualizations with just the basics while still providing a huge sandbox for those more familiar with Javascript.

You'll get a general overview of graphic coding and performance with Hydra, all in a supportive environment with other learners from a variety of different skill levels. You'll leave with a custom visualization built with the tools we learned here as well as a plethora of resources to continue your journey into code and visuals.
