An affordable three day all-ages camping event. Expect two ponds, three sound stages, experiential activations, a bonfire, large scale and interactive art.

Franklin Chthonics is an active meditation on appropriately managing and mindfully neglecting a large section of rural land on the edge of the western Catskills. Our community land project sits on 200+ acres of well tended fields and groves and is a 3 hour drive from New York City.

Don’t have any camping gear? Get a rental package when checking out your ticket and we will have a bevvy of essentials on site when you get here! Including but not limited to tent, sleeping bag & inflatable pad, pillow, camping chair, headlamp, lantern, cook stove, pan, cup, plate and cooler. Does NOT include fuel. You will need to provide your own propane or iso-butane for the cook stove.
