One of the leading tap dancers and improvisers in the city, Melissa Almaguer will be presenting a new solo work with spoken word and projections. As an improviser, Melissa has collaborated with Moor Mother, Irreversible Entanglements, William Parker and Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and Paquito D’Rivera, to name a few.

Known for their astonishing fluidity and whirlwind-power, flautist Laura Cocks will also be presenting a solo set. Known to "combine crystalline clarity with the disorienting turbulence of a sonic vortex” (WIRE Magazine), a spellbinding performance is guaranteed!
