MSHR + Poncili Creacion invite you to a night of placebos and digital sculpture, joining forces for the first time these two duets bring us two very different yet similar faces of what ceremonial performance can be: MSHR will perform an analog light audio feedback set with sculptural synths and Poncili will do a ritual of communication with interactive sculptures.
Doors @ 7pm
MSHR @ 8pm
Poncili @ 9pm
Poncili Creación (PR) conceptualizes and designs interactive experiences of comunication. Using different mechanisms and means of creation they make objects, often humanized, that can induce placebos and metaphorical experiences. They currently reside in Puerto Rico and dedicate their time to the study of objects and reality.
MSHR is the art collective of Birch Cooper and Brenna Murphy. We build and explore systems to reveal pathways toward ecstatic sensory experience. We work at the intersection of digital sculpture, analog circuitry and ceremonial performance. Our physical projects revolve around analog light-audio feedback systems built from macro-arrangements of our sculptural synthesizers. On the virtual side, we weave computer generated portraits of inter-dimensional entities and psychedelic realms. These physical and virtual pursuits inform each other deeply, unfolding a hyper-shape that houses both.
