Salons are held regularly on the last Wednesday of the month as a chance to create community by sharing space, ideas, conversation, time, libations, and resources through readings of new works and works in progress.

This second Salon’s theme is “Myth".

The Living Room is a Brooklyn based art collective that publishes a quarterly-ish zine, produces live events, and nurtures community through collaboration, conversation, and experimentation. If you would like to share or workshop your work please reach out and we would love to find a salon evening where you could share your work. Salons are open to all live art forms across genre and can vary in length as some months we will present many shorter pieces and some months we may spend time engaging in discussion around longer form pieces.
