ST. KILDA
A One Woman Scottish Horror Excursion With Supernatural Foley Looping
Written and Performed by Jody Christopherson
Sound and Foley Design by Andy Evan Cohen
Voice Over Acting by Michael de Roos
Dialect Coaching by Chloe Dirksen
*** This performance contains haze.
After the death of her Grandmother, an American woman travels to an abandoned island off the coast of Scotland and unearths a dark family secret . . . in a world where the past is anything but dead.
This critically acclaimed tale of supernatural horror is steeped in Scottish folklore and told in a tradition as ancient as its subject matter. Drama League nominee, Jody Christopherson, Time Out New York's "talent to watch not to mention a pleasure to hear" spins a tale of solo travel while creating her own sound score, lighting and special effects to conjure a multi-layered storytelling experience.
St Kilda is inspired by Christopherson’s Nebraska roots, her Scottish heritage, and the historic 1930 evacuation of Scotland’s archipelago St Kilda.

SILVER HAMMER
An auto-biographical horror-fiction concerning disinformation, non-linear warfare, arson, troll-farms, Russian oligarchs, psychic attacks, Tik Tok, and our ever-eroding sense of what is true and what is false.
Created and performed by Nick Ryan
‘This play was meant to premiere on May 29th, 2020. The title I submitted on the festival application the previous November was “Vladimir Putin Wants Me Dead,” though I sincerely hoped I would come up with a better one. The concept was to explore the work of Vladislav Surkov. Surkov has functioned as Russia’s effective Minister of Propaganda since Putin came to power. He is said to have engineered the Ukrainian Civil War. He is said to have orchestrated the world-wide online disinformation epidemic… and his background is in avant-garde theater.’
Silver Hammer is a solo show that explores why we tell stories, our susceptibility to online propaganda, and how theater can alter reality.
