6pm 'Fame'

Nowadays, everybody is dreaming about fame, when stars are looking for anonymity. Social networks give everyone the illusion that they are able to put on a staged show on a daily basis.Various profiles emerge of this "famous" theme which remains ambiguous, between fascination and poison. But what about the artist ?

Julia Robert offers her views on celebrity’s diverse aspects by playing flabbergasting charts hits along with refined experimentation.

Constella(c)tions is a mix between a public installation and a staged musical piece using smartphones motion sensors to control sound according to body movements. In

Constella(c)tions I : lines (world premiere) the whole musical action is mediated by very long strings. The whole installation was conceived as an immersive instrument that allows the participants to construct spaces, to generates geometric relations and zones of displacement. The action is in the center of the performance. Every daily body action carries rhythm and music. Every path carries form, timelines and time circles. Listening and playing is as dynamic process, a curve with different levels of stress, attention, engagement. During the performance in a certain moment, the musicians invite the audience to take part in the actions. Performers and audience collaborate to each other to keep the strings stretched. Constella(c)tions I : lines is dedicated to *soundinitiative* with the support of the VERTIGO project as part of the STARTS program of the European Commission, based on technological elements from BeCoMe.

8pm 'Vertical Horizons'
